Sample Receiving & Customer Service Specialist

The Position You will be the first point of contact for both our samples and our customers. You will receive incoming environmental samples, check them in accurately, and prepare them for our analysts. You will also answer phones, greet walk-in clients, and respond to customer email. This role suits someone who is organized, accurate, and enjoys helping people. What You’ll Do Receive and unpack environmental sample shipments and walk-in drop-offs Inspect samples for condition and verify them against the Chain of Custody form Identify and resolve discrepancies such as missing information or mislabeled samples Label, store, and stage samples for laboratory analysis Log samples into our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Answer phone calls and respond to customer email promptly and professionally Assist walk-in clients with sample drop-off and general questions Keep the receiving area clean and organized What We’re Looking For Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with Outlook Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Clear, friendly communication by phone, email, and in person Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized Reliable attendance and punctuality No degree required Nice to Have Laboratory, medical office, or data entry experience Customer service experience Pay and Benefits $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience Paid time off Paid holidays Life insurance Disability insurance Dental insurance About Us Since 2006, ImmunoLytics has helped homeowners, inspectors, and health professionals identify mold problems in their indoor environments.
