Position Summary We have an opportunity for a Sample Management Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the handling, storage, and documentation of samples and reference standards in compliance with regulatory and internal procedures. You will help maintain accurate records, ensure proper labeling and storage conditions, and assist with controlled substance processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and traceability of materials across the Greenville site. Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm Location: Greenville, NC 100% Onsite The Role Follow all regulatory guidelines, current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) guidelines, and Environmental Health and Safety regulations as required by the job function. Assist with the storage of samples in appropriate chamber conditions in accordance with internal procedures and signed frameworks. Remove required numbers of samples as specified or requested, ensuring proper documentation to maintain chain of custody between stability, laboratory, or client groups. Handle reference standards for all clients at Catalent. Support the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) process for controlled substances, including potential keyholder responsibilities for sample and reference standards, initial/final counts, and reconciliation. Maintain accurate notebooks and logbooks. Assist with inventory management for all reference standards and ensure proper labeling. Ensure all satellite locations for reference standards are well maintained. Support sample management processes such as sample destruction and inventory in accordance with procedures. Use software tools proficiently to support job duties and functions. Assist with biannual and annual physical inventory of stored stability samples and reference standards. Hold a valid driver’s license for driving between sites (1240 and 5440 sites, Greenville). Perform other duties related to the position as required by area management.
