Sample Maker

Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sample Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in garment construction and be proficient in using sewing machines to fabricate high-quality samples. This role is essential in bringing our design concepts to life, ensuring that each sample meets our standards for quality and craftsmanship. Duties Operate sewing machines to create samples based on design specifications. Fabricate garments using various fabrics, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and timelines. Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to samples for optimal fit and style. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Assist in the selection of fabrics and materials for sample production. Participate in quality control checks to ensure all samples meet company standards. Qualifications Proven experience in garment construction and sample making. Proficiency with sewing machines and various sewing techniques. Familiarity with warehouse operations related to fabric handling and inventory management is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Creative problem-solving skills, particularly in adjusting patterns or designs as needed.
