Sample Logistics & Operations Coordinator - About the Role We are seeking a highly responsible and detail-oriented Sample Logistic and Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our advanced Materials Analysis (MA) laboratory in Sunnyvale, CA. This role is critical to ensuring smooth coordination between our customers and engineering team, particularly in managing the timely and accurate receipt, tracking, handling, and preparation of customer samples for analysis. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Customer Sample Coordination Pick up and deliver customer samples throughout the Bay Area Ensure proper handling, tracking, and chain of custody of sensitive customer materials Receive, inspect, log, and track incoming customer samples and deliveries Coordinate sample logistics and requirements with customers and internal engineering teams Ensure samples are available in-house and ready for engineering work according to project requirements Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials Support shipping, packaging, labeling, and preparation of required documentation Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams regarding sample status, logistics, and scheduling Identify and resolve routine logistics or sample-handling issues in a timely manner General Operations Support Support day-to-day laboratory and operational processes in accordance with company quality standards and ISO requirements Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient sample and work environment Assist with inventory, supplies, and general laboratory organization Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory workflows, logistics processes, and overall operational efficiency Provide general operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day laboratory activities Follow established procedures for handling confidential customer information and materials Qualifications Required Highly reliable, responsible, and accountable, with strong attention to detail Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy Comfortable working in a technical, laboratory, or engineering environment Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the Bay Area Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities Professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers and internal teams Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise appropriate care when handling customer materials and information Shift Hours required 1pm-9pm Preferred Experience working in a laboratory, engineering, semiconductor, manufacturing, or other technical environment Experience supporting logistics, operations, sample management, or workflow coordination Familiarity with quality systems or ISO-regulated environments Experience working with documentation, tracking systems, or inventory management Career Growth & Development This role is designed as a developmental position with opportunities to grow as you gain experience and demonstrate ownership.
