Over a 108-year history the 4As has gone from reacting to member organization needs and key industry topics to the organization today which must set agendas, continually represent the broad agency community, and amplify its constituents’ voice in a more complex ecosystem of brands, platforms, creators, technology solutions and clients. position overview The Salesforce Data & Operations Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration and data management functions of the 4As Salesforce/Nimble AMS environment. This is an entry-level technical role focused on data quality, record maintenance, reporting, and operational support — serving as a key resource for keeping member data accurate, current, and actionable across the organization. Working closely with the Nimble Database Manager and cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will spend the majority of their time directly in Salesforce: processing bulk data updates, building and maintaining reports, supporting data import/export workflows, and documenting operational procedures. This role is well-suited to someone who is detail-driven, technically curious, and eager to grow their Salesforce expertise in a mission-driven association environment. Qualities essential to thrive in this role: Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Comfort working in systems and databases day-to-day Organized, methodical approach to repetitive and process-driven tasks Clear written and verbal communicator Collaborative and proactive — comfortable asking questions and flagging issues Eagerness to learn Salesforce and grow technical skills over time position responsibilities Core responsibilities and tasks include: Data Management & Quality Perform bulk data imports, exports, and updates using Data Loader or similar tools Execute manual record updates and data corrections within Salesforce/Nimble AMS Identify and resolve duplicate records; support ongoing deduplication efforts Support Data Health projects, including data scrubbing and validation Monitor data integrity and flag inconsistencies to the Nimble Database Manager Reporting & Analysis Build and maintain standard reports and dashboards within Salesforce Pull and format data for staff requests, leadership reviews, and membership communications Assist with tracking member rosters, engagement data, and participation records Process Documentation & Support Create and maintain SOPs and step-by-step documentation for recurring data processes Document workflow configurations, field mappings, and data standards for team reference Assist in the development of training materials for staff Salesforce users Provide basic end-user support and troubleshooting for staff questions about Salesforce Administration & Coordination Support configuration of custom fields and objects under the direction of the Nimble Database Manager Assist with testing and QA for system updates, new features, and workflow changes Coordinate with Business Units on data requests and operational needs Respond to member support requests related to data and Salesforce access, and assist with other duties as needed to support team and organizational goals. position requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field Foundational knowledge of Salesforce; hands-on experience (including coursework, internships, or Trailhead) strongly preferred Salesforce Administrator certification a plus — not required; support for certification provided Comfort working with data: importing, exporting, cleaning, and organizing large record sets Proficiency in Micr…
