SALES & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (Seasonal)

JOB TITLE : SALES & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (Seasonal) DEPARTMENT : OPERATIONS REPORTS TO : GENERAL MANAGER AND DIRECTOR FOCUS: CUSTOMER SERVICE, WAREHOUSE FLSA STATUS : HOURLY WORK STATUS : FULL TIME LOCATION: NORCROSS, GA JOB OVERVIEW : This position is responsible for ensuring that the Pooltables.com vision, values, and culture are exemplified in the day-to-day running of the business. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the Pooltables.com business including shipping, installer relations, inventory optimization, retail store management, website curation, and customer service. This includes collaborating with the General Manager and director in all aspects of the business. This also includes performing all tasks the general manager may do in his/her absence. Starting hourly pay is $20/hr based on experience. Potential to convert to full-time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: ● Manage vendor relationships ● Negotiate best price for pool table installations ● Ensure shipping quotes and BOLs are in line with goals ● Ensure shipments arrive to destination intact and on time and manage carrier relationship when issues arise ● Work with Portland location to ensure inventory needs are met ● Manage customer service and optimize sales ● White glove service means Pooltables.com manages all touch points from before the customer purchases to their first break on their new table ● Ensure a high level of customer service is offered to online and occasional in-store customers ● Outbound Calls – Follow up with customers to confirm their order and schedule installations. Follow up on prior leads to complete the sale ● Inbound Calls – Manage customer inquiries, complete sales and any other miscellaneous requests. ● In-store – Engage with and accommodate customers as they visit the local showroom ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES – We will train you ● Use Shopify interface ● Use Netsuite for Installer and logistics ● Must be able to manage a forklift when necessary ● Ability to lift 50-60 pounds as needed ● Must be able to work independently KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: Knowledge Industry trends E-mail and internet programs Retail math Retail management and operation Skills The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills: ● Analytical and problem-solving skills ● Decision making skills. ● Stress management skills. ● Time management skills ● Effective verbal, presentation, and listening communication skills ● Effective writing communications skills. The Sales and Warehouse Associate will have to do general warehouse work including loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
