Sales Support Team Associate

Providing quotes and proposals to customers: Generating accurate and competitive pricing based on their needs. Processing customer orders and entering them into the system: Ensuring accuracy and completeness of order information. Following up on leads and outstanding quotes: Proactively reaching out to potential and existing customers to close sales. Building and maintaining relationships with customers: Providing excellent service to encourage repeat business. Identifying customer needs and suggesting appropriate fastener solutions: Offering product recommendations based on their applications. Upselling and cross-selling related products: Identifying opportunities to increase order value. Maintaining product knowledge and staying updated on new offers: Understanding the different types of fasteners and their applications. Potentially managing a portfolio of smaller accounts. Collaborating with outside sales representatives (if applicable) to support their efforts. Administrative: Answering phones and directing calls. Managing email correspondence and maintaining organized records. Processing paperwork related to sales orders, invoices, and shipping documents. Maintaining customer files and databases. Generating reports on sales activities, inventory levels, or other relevant data. Assisting with purchasing and inventory control tasks (e.g., placing orders, tracking shipments). Coordinating with the warehouse team on order fulfillment and shipping schedules. Handling basic bookkeeping tasks (e.g., processing payments, managing expenses). Maintaining office supplies and ensuring a well-organized workspace. Potentially assisting with marketing efforts or preparing sales materials. Scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Warehouse: Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory. Restocking shelves and bins as new inventory arrives. Conducting cycle counts and assisting with physical inventory. Receiving incoming shipments and verifying contents against purchase orders. Labeling and identifying different types of fasteners. Preparing orders for shipment, including packaging and creating shipping labels. Loading and unloading trucks (potentially, depending on the size of the operation and equipment). Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Operating warehouse equipment (if certified), such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
