Job title: Sales Representative – Lumber & Building Materials Company: Beyond Lumber · Location: Gardena, CA (On-site) · Type: Full-time Pay: $72,000/year base salary + commission on sales About Beyond Lumber Beyond Lumber is a Southern California lumber and building materials supplier with yards in Gardena and Reseda. We supply premium decking, lumber and building materials to contractors, builders and homeowners. We offer next-day delivery across Southern California and ship nationwide. Our sister company, LA Decks, has built decks and outdoor spaces across Los Angeles and Orange County since 2005. The role We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Representative who knows construction and knows how to sell. You’ll help contractors, builders and homeowners choose the right materials, prepare quotes, close sales and build long-term customer relationships. What you’ll do Answer incoming calls, emails and walk-in customers, and turn inquiries into sales Prepare accurate quotes and material lists for customer projects Advise customers on lumber, decking and building materials Follow up on open quotes and close sales Build and grow relationships with contractors, builders and repeat customers Coordinate orders and deliveries with the yard and dispatch team Keep customer and sales information up to date in our CRM Meet and exceed monthly sales goals Must have Construction industry experience (building materials, lumber, contracting or similar) Proven sales experience with a track record of closing deals Responsible, detail-oriented and accountable: you own your quotes, orders and follow-ups from start to finish A team player who works closely with the yard, dispatch and the LA Decks team Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Able to work in office Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, in Gardena Comfortable with computers, email and CRM systems Nice to have Ability to read construction plans and prepare material takeoffs Knowledge of decking, lumber and building materials Spanish speaker What we offer $72,000/year base salary + commission on sales A stable, growing company with 20+ years in the industry A supportive team and room to grow How to apply: Send your resume and a short note about your construction and sales experience.
