Sales Representative

Duties Engage with customers in retail stores and on route to understand their needs and present suitable products or services. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, upselling, and personalized service. Conduct route driving safely while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices. Assist customers with pricing inquiries, product demonstrations, and merchandising efforts to enhance sales opportunities. Manage automobile transportation logistics for product delivery, ensuring timely and secure handling of merchandise. Perform heavy lifting and safe loading/unloading of products during deliveries or stock replenishment. Utilize organizational skills to plan efficient routes, manage schedules, and keep accurate records of sales activities. Qualifications Proven experience in retail store environments or customer service roles is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Basic math skills for pricing calculations, invoicing, and inventory management. Knowledge of upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial truck driving or commercial driving preferred. Familiarity with DOT regulations, route driving, and automobile transportation practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Excellent organizational skills for route planning and inventory management. Experience in merchandising, client communication, and sales is highly desirable.
