Sales Prospector
Amtransco, LLC.At ATC Driveaway & Transport, we're looking for a motivated Sales Prospector who enjoys building new connections and uncovering opportunities that can help grow our business. The Sales Prospector is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly paid role responsible for prospecting for new business opportunities from potential new customers in the movement of their equipment and vehicles. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Prospect for new customers and new vehicle or equipment moves by a combination of lead generation efforts, cold-calling, and customer relationship development and maintenance. Broker the movement of equipment and vehicles using appropriate carriers and/or other methods. Work with a team of dispatchers to maintain accuracy, client satisfaction, on-time results, and adherence to company policies. Follow the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and training materials for Dispatch. Work closely with the Dispatch Manager to determine the best strategies to improve processes & efficiency. Provides customer service support for escalated, ongoing, or specialized issues, utilizing your experience to drive solutions. Be proficient in all aspects of the ATC transportation management software system or applicable required software. Availability on evenings and weekends coverage as needed. Adhere to operational policies, practices, and procedures to attain operating goals. Participate in a culture of continuous process improvement. Work as a Team player focused on Customer and Company success. Pay Structure: Hourly plus SPIF(s) Qualifications: Highly organized and detail oriented. Effective prioritization and time management and problem-solving ability. Must exhibit professionalism and be effective working with customers and coworkers. Tactfully convey information, both orally and written, on a wide range of topics to a diverse target audience. Computer skills with common office software, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet communications. Professional telephone skills with a clear speaking voice. Ability to learn new Software as needed. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong initiative to strive for continuous accuracy, quality, and timeliness of information. Education & Experience: High School graduate or equivalent education required; Two-year or Four-year undergraduate degree preferred. Minimum 2 years prior sale experience preferred. Equipment Operated, Work Environment, and Mental/Physical Requirements: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc. Position is in a well-lighted, temperature controlled office environment. Typically Monday through Friday workweeks. Occasional evening and weekend work could be necessary. Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day for long periods of time, walking or standing the remainder. Involves long periods of looking at a backlit computer monitor, concentrating and paying attention to details.
