Sales Operations Intern

Department: Sales Operations Intern

Reports To: Sales Operations Manager

Location: Wendell, NC

Position Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Management Level: Intern

 

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Operations Intern will support the Sales Operations team in improving sales processes, managing data, and assisting with daily operational tasks. This role provides hands-on experience in sales operations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

1. Sales Process Support

  • Assist in documenting and improving sales processes and workflows
  • Support efforts to identify process gaps and recommend improvements

2. Data Management and Reporting

  • Help maintain and update sales data in CRM systems
  • Assist in generating reports on sales performance and key metrics
  • Support data analysis to identify trends and insights

3. Sales Tools and Systems

  • Provide support in managing sales tools and platforms
  • Assist in troubleshooting basic system issues
  • Help with user support and documentation for sales tools

4. Collaboration and Communication

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service)
  • Support communication between sales and other departments

5. Sales Planning Support

  • Assist in preparing data for sales planning and strategy development
  • Support tracking and reporting on sales initiatives

6. Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the Sales Operations team
  • Help maintain sales-related documents and records

7. Forecasting & Inventory Support

  • Assist in monitoring sales forecasts and inventory alignment
  • Support PSI (Planning-Sales-Inventory) activities
  • Help track purchase orders and inventory updates

 

 

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • No prior experience required; internship or project experience is a plus
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Interest in CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus
