Connect Workforce America is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Sales & Operations Branch Manager to help launch, develop, and grow our recruiting operation in Texas. This is a hands-on commercial leadership role for someone who understands recruitment and knows how to build business. The ideal candidate is comfortable generating new business, developing client relationships, selling recruiting services, closing agreements, and coordinating recruiting delivery. The position is open to candidates residing anywhere in Texas. The operation may initially develop in Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, or another Texas market depending on the selected candidate’s experience, network, market knowledge, and business-development potential. Key Responsibilities Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients within the Texas market. Generate new business through cold outreach, referrals, LinkedIn, networking, industry associations, events, and direct client visits. Develop and grow a strong client portfolio / book of business. Identify client hiring challenges and develop recruiting solutions aligned with their operational needs. Conduct discovery meetings and presentations with HR, Operations, Procurement, and executive decision-makers. Prepare proposals, establish pricing, negotiate recruiting agreements, and close new business. Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts. Coordinate recruiting priorities with recruiters and sourcing support teams. Monitor candidate sourcing, screening, submissions, interviews, placements, and post-placement follow-up. Maintain accurate sales activities, opportunities, forecasts, and recruiting information in CRM and ATS platforms. Monitor recruiting quality, turnaround time, client satisfaction, and service delivery. Help develop the processes, team structure, and commercial strategy required to scale the Texas operation. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in recruiting agencies, direct-hire recruitment, talent acquisition, human capital services, or B2B professional-services sales. 2+ years of experience in sales leadership, branch management, territory development, account portfolio management, or similar commercial roles. Proven experience generating leads, developing client relationships, and closing new business. Experience building and growing a client portfolio or book of business. Experience selling recruiting, staffing, human capital, or professional services is strongly preferred. Knowledge of the Texas business market. Experience serving manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, transportation, construction, food production, or technical industries is preferred. Ability to coordinate recruiters and manage multiple client searches simultaneously. Experience with CRM and ATS platforms. Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills. Professional English proficiency. Spanish-English bilingual capability is highly preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Availability for client visits, prospect meetings, networking activities, and business events. Current authorization to work in the United States. Current residence in Texas. Work Model This is a hybrid position available to candidates currently residing anywhere in Texas. The selected candidate will work from a coworking location in or near their city of residence on designated office days. Remaining time may include client visits, prospect meetings, networking activities, business-development activities, and remote work according to business priorities.
