Sales Operations Associate

The System's Depot is a growing regional distributor of security and fire protection products, Access Control, Burglar, CCTV, Fire Alarms, and Wire and we are seeking a Sales & Operations Associate for our Duluth, GA branch. This is a front-line, in-branch role for someone who thrives on variety — greeting walk-in customers at the counter, handling phone orders, keeping inventory accurate, supporting branch administrative needs, and occasionally getting out to visit customers in the field. You'll be a key part of making sure the branch runs smoothly day to day. What You'll Do Take and process customer orders in person at the counter and over the phone Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability to contractors and installers Enter and manage orders in the ERP system; follow up on backorders and special orders Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory; perform regular cycle counts Monitor stock levels and flag reorder needs to avoid stockouts Pull and prepare orders for will-call pickup and outbound delivery Keep the branch floor, counter, and warehouse organized and presentable Support walk-in customers with basic product guidance and cross-sell opportunities Assist with returns, exchanges, and resolving order discrepancies Provide general administrative support: filing, data entry, basic reporting, and document/account tracking Occasionally visit local customers on-site to support relationships, deliveries, or account needs What We're Looking For 1-3+ years of experience in a counter sales, inside sales, or warehouse/inventory role — distribution or trade industry a plus Comfortable multitasking between customer-facing sales and behind-the-scenes operations Basic inventory management experience (receiving, cycle counts, stock organization) Strong communication skills, in person and by phone Comfortable with computer systems for order entry and inventory tracking Detail-oriented with good follow-through on order accuracy Ability to lift and move product as needed in a warehouse environment Familiarity with security/fire products (access control, burglar, CCTV, fire supplies, wire) a strong plus, but not required Comfortable handling light administrative tasks and occasional local travel to customer sites; valid driver's license required Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Vision insurance Work Location: In person
