Job Description

The opportunity

We're looking for a sharp, eager person who wants to learn, grow, and take real ownership of work that matters. You don't need to arrive knowing our systems — we'll train you on Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. What we need is someone organized, dependable, and genuinely curious about how a manufacturing business operates.

If you're early in your career and want a role where you can make an immediate impact, get broad exposure across sales, marketing, and operations, and grow with a stable company that has been around for 130 years — this is it.

Immediate priority project

We are currently undertaking a full redesign of our company website. Your first major responsibility will be serving as our internal point person on this project — coordinating day-to-day with our development agency, driving content gathering and organization, managing timelines, and getting hands-on in the CMS once the site is built. This is a high-visibility project with real ownership from day one.

What you'll do

Website redesign (near-term focus)

  • Serve as the primary internal liaison with our web development agency
  • Drive content gathering — product descriptions, company information, photography coordination, and copy
  • Manage project timelines, open items, and approvals to keep the build on track
  • Learn and maintain the CMS post-launch, handling ongoing updates and content additions

CRM & sales support

  • Maintain and update Salesforce records — contacts, accounts, activities, and reports
  • Support the owner and three-person sales team with administrative tasks and follow-ups
  • Help prepare sales reports and customer-facing documents as needed

Marketing & e-commerce administration

  • Support email marketing campaigns — list management, scheduling, and platform coordination
  • Maintain our e-commerce platform (WooCommerce), including product listings and pricing updates
  • Assist with SEO tasks and digital marketing initiatives as directed

ERP & general administration

  • Learn and work within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for order and customer data
  • Periodically review open orders and account status in Business Central to flag past-due accounts to the finance team
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers as directed
  • Help maintain compliance documentation, SharePoint records, and internal trackers
  • Handle a variety of administrative tasks that support ownership and keep daily operations moving
  • Take on new responsibilities as you get up to speed and earn trust

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, sales support, marketing, or operations role — any industry considered
  • Some exposure to digital marketing, website projects, or content management is a real plus
  • Comfortable learning new software — prior CRM or ERP experience helpful but not required
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills: Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented — you don't let things fall through the cracks
  • Clear, professional communicator in writing and on the phone
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and follows through without needing to be reminded
  • Genuine interest in growing within a company and taking on more responsibility over time

Additional Information

Salary is 50k-60k depending on experience with an annual bonus based on performance.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Hybrid work schedule offering flexibility.
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth within Belmont Metals.
