Sales Manager (with Dispatch Support) – JMJ Transport LLC – Houston, TX Full-time | On-site | $75,000–$85,000 base + uncapped commission JMJ Transport LLC is a growing Houston-based trucking company running aggregate and belly-dump hauling, flatbed, oilfield support and over-the-road freight across Texas and the southern states. We’re looking for a driven Sales Manager with an established book of business to grow our customer base and help keep our trucks loaded and moving. What you’ll do: Bring in and grow shipper accounts across our freight types Quote and negotiate rates, and build lanes that keep our trucks loaded Manage customer relationships, including follow-up, service issues and collections support Work load boards to cover open trucks and reduce empty miles Help dispatch with load planning, driver assignments, check calls and appointment scheduling Plan loads around driver hours-of-service and safety rules, never against them Keep customer, rate and load records up to date in our TMS Report weekly on sales activity, revenue and lane performance What we’re looking for: Established book of business with shippers you can bring or grow (required) 2+ years of trucking sales, freight brokerage or carrier sales experience Dispatch experience strongly preferred Knowledge of load boards (DAT, Truckstop or similar) and rate negotiation Familiarity with TMS software and ELDs (Motive a plus) Aggregate, flatbed or oilfield freight experience a plus Strong phone, email and follow-up skills, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What we offer: $75,000–$85,000 base, depending on experience and book of business Uncapped commission on the business you bring in Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) Company phone A small, hands-on team where your work directly drives company growth Location: 7306 South Lake Houston Parkway, Houston, TX 77049 To apply: Apply through this posting.
