Overview Seasonal Store Sales Manager — Shinsegae Hyperground K-Beauty Pop-Up (NYC) Shinsegae Hyperground is a global platform operated by Shinsegae Group, one of Korea's largest and most prestigious department store conglomerates. Established to introduce distinguished Korean brands to an international audience, Shinsegae Hyperground will present its first Korean beauty and wellness pop-up in New York City this fall. We are currently seeking a local Store Sales Manager to lead floor operations for a three-month engagement at our Hudson Yards location and the adjacent outdoor space near The Vessel, in partnership with some of the most highly regarded K-Beauty brands in the industry. Employment Type: Temporary, Part-Time (W-2 Employee) Number of Positions: 1–2 Employment Period: Now Open – Dec 31, 2026 Pop-up Store Location: 20 Hudson Yards, New York, NY (outdoor pavilion adjacent to The Vessel) Weekly Hours: Approximately 16~24 hrs, with priority given to evenings, weekends, and peak hours (Store Hours: Mon–Sat, 10AM–9PM; Sun, 11AM–7PM) *Scheduling will be arranged with consideration for each associate's availability; however, please note that evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required in accordance with standard retail operations. Responsibilities Store Operations (Oct–Dec) Supervise daily floor operations and ensure smooth, high-quality customer experiences Support and drive sales performance across the team, including assisting with key transactions Provide training support and day-to-day coaching for store associates Deliver front-line customer service, including personalized beauty consultations Supervise and coordinate assistants during shifts, delegating tasks as needed Support opening and closing procedures when required Support inventory management, including restocking and cycle counts Qualifications 3–7+ years of experience in a related field (retail, cosmetics, or specialty sales, with supervisory experience preferred) Ability to lead a team and provide customer service in English Valid U.S. work authorization required(W2) Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours as required Genuine interest in the beauty and K-Beauty industry, with a strong aptitude for customer interaction and team leadership Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and a strong sense of professional responsibility Preferred Qualifications Comfortable engaging with customers, with a friendly and outgoing approach Retail, cosmetics, or event promotion experience preferred Product knowledge and genuine interest in K-Beauty a real plus Experience providing makeup or skincare consultations Proficiency in languages in addition to English Availability to commit to the full duration of the pop-up engagement Benefits Snacks and beverages provided during shifts Uniform provided Store discount Pay: $40.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Experience: Beauty & cosmetics sales: 3 years (Preferred) Language: English (Required) Shift availability: Night Shift (Required) Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: New York, NY 10001 (Required) Work Location: In person
