Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Sales Lead to join our dynamic retail team at a premier shopping destination. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail sales team to meet and exceed sales goals through effective coaching and supervision. Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products and customer service standards. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring exceptional service and resolving issues promptly. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing potential candidates and assisting with onboarding processes. Maintain operational efficiency by managing payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory control tasks. Utilize management skills to supervise shift schedules, monitor sales performance, and enforce store policies. Implement marketing initiatives within the store to promote products and enhance customer engagement. Ensure compliance with safety standards, cash handling procedures, and company policies at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within the retail industry. Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent managerial communication abilities. Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, recruiting, and team leadership. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math skills for cash handling and bookkeeping. Experience with operational management tasks such as budgeting, payroll processing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock control. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of retail math concepts including sales analysis and inventory turnover rates. Previous experience in supervising retail teams within grocery stores or similar environments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers and leading a team confidently.
