Sales Associate / Warehouse Order Picker About Us Deck & Fence Superstore is a local supplier of fencing and decking materials, serving homeowners, contractors, and builders. We pride ourselves on helping customers find the right products for their projects and getting them what they need quickly. About the Role We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Sales Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role split between the retail counter and the warehouse. You’ll help customers in our showroom, then pull their orders and load them for pickup or delivery. If you like working with people and staying active, this role is a great fit. What You’ll Do Greet and assist walk-in customers, answer product questions, and help them choose the right materials Process sales, quotes, and payments at the counter Pick and stage orders in the warehouse accurately and on time Load orders for waiting customers and deliver to job sites or customer vehicles as needed Help keep the warehouse and showroom organized, clean, and stocked Build positive relationships with homeowners, contractors, and repeat customers What We’re Looking For Previous customer-facing experience (retail, sales, or customer service) Ability to perform minor manual labor, including lifting [25] lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods Comfortable working in both a retail setting and a warehouse environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 40+ hour week Strong communication skills and a positive, helpful attitude Nice to Have Experience in building materials, lumber, hardware, or home improvement Forklift experience or willingness to be trained Basic knowledge of fencing or decking products Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
