Sales Associate

This position involves assisting customers, inventorying vehicles and automotive parts, managing online sales through eBay, and supporting daily office operations. We are looking for someone who is comfortable using computers, enjoys working with customers, and can learn to identify automotive parts accurately. We offer a competitive hourly wage plus performance-based sales commissions. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through online inquiries. Help customers locate and purchase used automotive parts. Answer questions regarding parts availability, pricing, and compatibility. Process sales transactions and customer payments. Assist with purchasing vehicles and scrap materials from customers. Vehicle & Parts Inventory Enter newly acquired vehicles into our inventory management system. Identify, photograph, and document automotive parts for resale. Record vehicle information, including VINs, mileage, condition, and available parts. Maintain accurate inventory records and update parts availability. Coordinate with yard employees to locate and prepare parts for customers. eBay & Online Sales Create and manage eBay listings for used automotive parts. Photograph parts and write accurate product descriptions. Research competitive pricing for used parts. Respond to online customer inquiries and manage orders. Prepare, package, and ship sold parts. Keep online inventory and listings accurate and up to date. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. Basic understanding of automobiles and automotive parts preferred. Previous experience with eBay, online sales, or inventory systems is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
