Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their needs and preferences Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining attractive product layouts Provide knowledgeable assistance on store products, including grocery items if applicable, ensuring customers receive accurate information Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support inventory management through stock checks, inventory replenishment, and organizing backstock areas Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Strong supervising or leadership experience in retail or customer service settings Ability to perform product demos confidently and clearly communicate features to customers Bilingual skills to serve diverse customer bases effectively (preferred) Excellent communication skills paired with professional phone etiquette Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail math for accurate inventory management Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, approachable demeanor Basic math skills for transactions, cash handling, and retail calculations Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is a plus This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their sales expertise while delivering outstanding service.
