Sales Associate

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service, demonstrating product features, and assisting customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Support supervising staff when needed, including training new team members on sales techniques and store procedures Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with customers confidently Knowledge of merchandising, stock management, and upselling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for sales transactions and inventory purposes Prior experience in cashiering, cash handling, and providing excellent customer service is essential Pay: Up to $17.50 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
