Sales Associate

About the Role We are seeking a Sales Associate to support customer relationships, inventory management, logistics coordination, and day-to-day sales activities. This position serves as a direct point of contact for customers and works closely with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities Communicate directly with customer contacts and respond to customer needs Maintain customer portals as required Monitor inventory and identify potential issues that could affect customer requirements Issue purchase orders to suppliers Collect customer forecasts communicate forecasts to suppliers Prioritize daily activities to meet customer and company deadlines Work collaboratively with other departments to identify issues and develop solutions Maintain professional communication with customers, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Department Leader Qualifications & Experience Experience working in a production or warehouse environment Basic experience or knowledge of logistics Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to write professional emails, memos, business letters, and reports Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively with customers and internal teams Strong analytical and decision-making skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC applications Basic knowledge of AIM or comparable inventory control/EDI software is preferred What We're Looking For The successful candidate will be professional, dependable, organized, and comfortable communicating with both customers and internal teams. This role requires someone who can work independently while also contributing as part of a team to solve problems and support customer requirements.
