Duties Greet and engage customers professionally, providing personalized assistance throughout their shopping experience. Assist customers in selecting fine jewelry, including gold chains, diamond jewelry, engagement rings, watches, and custom pieces. Actively drive sales by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and confidently closing transactions. Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Educate customers on jewelry quality, product features, pricing, promotions, and available financing options. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, including processing payments, handling cash, and completing transactions. Maintain attractive, organized, and well-stocked jewelry displays while ensuring merchandise is properly presented. Assist with inventory management, merchandise organization, and daily store operations. Respond professionally to customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve individual and store sales goals. Follow company policies, merchandise-handling procedures, and security protocols. Skills Previous retail sales experience required; jewelry sales or luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Strong sales abilities, including customer engagement, negotiation, upselling, and closing techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment. Ability to build customer trust and establish long-term relationships. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail mathematics. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance, positive attitude, and dependable work ethic. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus. Knowledge of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry products is an advantage. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
