Safety Manager – Trucking

Company: American Turbo LLC Location: Naperville, IL 60540 Pay: $1,500–$2,000 per week ($78,000–$104,000 annual equivalent, based on 52 paid weeks) Work location: In person About the Role American Turbo LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Manager with at least 3 years of trucking safety experience. In this role, you will oversee fleet safety and compliance, support drivers, and work closely with our operations team to address safety concerns and improve daily practices. Proficiency in both English and Russian is strongly preferred to support clear communication with drivers and team members. Key Responsibilities Oversee compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations. Review driver logs, monitor Hours of Service (HOS), and oversee Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance. Monitor Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) scores, identify recurring issues, and coordinate corrective actions. Manage safety documentation and prepare for inspections and audits. Handle accident reporting, investigations, and related claims. Conduct driver safety training and new-hire orientation. Communicate safety expectations clearly and follow up with drivers and staff to resolve compliance issues. Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in trucking safety and compliance. Strong working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Ability to communicate clearly and consistently with drivers and staff. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow through on safety and compliance matters. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in both English and Russian. Experience improving CSA scores and preparing for DOT/FMCSA audits. Experience leading driver safety training and orientation programs. Relevant safety certifications, such as CDS, CSP, or similar credentials. What We Offer Weekly pay of $1,500–$2,000, equivalent to $78,000–$104,000 annually based on 52 paid weeks.
