Position Summary FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with operations across North America, has an immediate opening for a Safety Manager at our Boston airport location . The Safety Manager oversees all health, safety, environmental, and training programs for site personnel. Assisting the local management and Corporate HSE, this role ensures regulatory compliance, drives safety metrics, and leads incident investigations within an aviation environment. This position requires physical operational presence, including on-call availability. Essential Responsibilities Partner with station leadership to administer and maintain workplace safety, training, and environmental compliance programs Coordinate with Corporate HSE to maintain local compliance with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements Coordinate the activities of safety and training coordinators, as applicable, including work assignments, training initiatives, and development activities Provide guidance to operational management regarding workplace safety, environmental compliance, training requirements, and related workplace practices Develop, maintain, and review safety and compliance reports and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential gaps Maintain OSHA records and reporting logs in accordance with applicable requirements Identify training needs and coordinate or conduct proactive safety and compliance training Participate or coordinate investigations involving workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses, including documentation and submission of required reports Track corrective actions and follow-up activities through completion Establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, management, internal departments, regulatory agencies, and external business partners Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and workplace compliance requirements Remain current on regulatory developments, workplace hazards, hazardous materials requirements, and applicable company policies and procedures Perform additional duties as assigned to support business and operational needs Benefits Amazing opportunities for promotions and career growth Full array of benefits to meet you and your family’s needs Extensive training Pay on Demand program Paid Time Off …and much more!
