Rural Mail Carrier - Contracted

This is a perfect job for someone looking for a side gig on Saturdays. Other days may be available as needed. The contract consists of casing (sorting) and loading and delivering the mail to mail boxes in Capon Bridge, WV. Delivering and picking up any outgoing mail in the mail boxes and returning to the Post Office and unloading etc. The contract is one day per week The start time is 8:30am and can be adjusted with agreement of postmaster and NBE LLC. All postal holidays will be observed, therefore, no work on postal holidays. The contract will be through 9/30/2029 and can be extended at that time. The pay rate 218.64 a day for an average of 8.413 contract hours worth of work between in-post office time and delivering on the route. This could take one day or one week depending on your learning abilities. You will be required to pass a background check and drug test. The initial drug test will be reimbursed by NBE LLC. Additionally you will be required to provide a 5 year driving record background available online for about $10 to $12. You must abide by all USPS rules and regulations and most importantly meeting the Postmaster's expectations. You may be asked to spend a day of observation unpaid . At the end of the day, we (you, Danielle, NBE, and the USPS) can collectively decide if the job will work for you. Job Types: Part-time, Contract $218.67per day once out of training.
