Rural Carrier Associate (RCA)

Responsibilities: - Operate own vehicle for route driving, with mileage reimbursement in addition to hourly pay, currently 0.97 per route mile. - Lift up to 70 pounds intermittently - Sort and organize mail and packages for delivery - Follow established routes and schedules for efficient delivery - Provide excellent customer service - Must be available to work weekdays, Saturdays, and potentially holidays. - May be required to work in other postal facilities within a 50-mile range. Skills: - Strong physical stamina to lift and move heavy packages - Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record - Attention to detail for accurate sorting and delivery of mail and packages Applicant must be able to pass background check, drug test, have clean driving record. Applicant will have the option to be guided through the application process in person at the Colfax post office via jobs.USPS.com, or can do so without guidance from a home computer.
