Rural Carrier Associate (RCA)
RCAs case, deliver, and collect mail along a prescribed rural
route using a Personally Owned Vehicle and provide customers
on the route with a variety of services.
• Hourly wage $21.89 plus a Vehicle Equipment Maintenance Allowance
(EMA) of 95 cents per mile or minimum of $38.00 per day.

• This is a Part–Time position, which could lead to
a full-time career position.
• Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license, a safe driving
record, and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving
passenger cars or larger. The driving must have taken place in
the U.S. or its possessions or territories or in U.S. military
installations worldwide.
• Hours will vary and can include holidays and weekends; there is no
guarantee of hours.
• Traveling to other offices to assist on routes within 50 miles is required
when necessary.
• You will be required to provide a vehicle sufficient in size for
delivery of mail.
• RCAs will receive Equipment Maintenance Allowance.
• You will be required to have the ability to deliver from the right-hand
side of the vehicle.
• This position is specifically for the Epworth Post Office but will also
cover Farley and Holy Cross routes
