Rural Carrier Associate

Job Overview As a Rural Carrier Associate, you’ll help keep deliveries moving by preparing and transporting mail and packages along assigned routes. You’ll use a vehicle suited to the route, follow traffic and safety requirements, and provide courteous customer service at each stop. This role may involve a personal vehicle, van, or box truck, depending on operational needs. Duties Sort, load, and unload mail and packages; use material handling equipment such as a pallet jack when needed Drive assigned routes, deliver items, and use mobile devices to record delivery activity Handle warehouse operations tasks, including moving items and managing loads Follow traffic regulations and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements Use safe lifting practices when handling workplace weights and performing heavy lifting Your impact: Accurate, safe deliveries help customers receive their mail and packages reliably. Requirements Driving or delivery driver experience is helpful; warehouse experience, warehouse operations, courier, or van driver experience is also relevant Ability to perform manual handling, load and unload items, and meet the role’s weight-handling needs Familiarity with commercial driving, commercial truck driving, route driving, or personal vehicle delivery is preferred Experience with a box truck, manual transmission, or material handling equipment such as a pallet jack is a plus Commitment to safe driving, customer service, and following applicable DOT regulations; role-specific vehicle requirements will be shared during hiring Work Location: In person Pay: From $21.89 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Mileage reimbursement Paid time off Paid training Work Location: In person
