Rural Carrier Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Rural Carrier to join our team. This role involves delivering mail and packages along designated routes, assisting with mail collection, and providing excellent customer service in a variety of weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors and indoors, handling moderate to heavy loads, and using a personal vehicle for deliveries. Duties Sort, lift, and push moderate to heavy loads of mail and packages to prepare for delivery Deliver mail along assigned rural routes efficiently and accurately Pick up or collect mail from customers as needed Sell stamps and assist customers with postal services Use personal vehicle for delivery method, ensuring timely and safe transportation of mail and packages Work outdoors in all weather conditions including rain, snow, cold, and heat Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure the security of all items during transit Requirements Personal vehicle suitable for delivery purposes Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as sorting, lifting, and pushing loads Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent customer service skills and professionalism Dependability and punctuality in completing daily routes Join our team as an Assistant Rural Carrier to play a vital role in connecting communities through reliable postal services.
