Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Rural Carrier Associate, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our rural communities. This energetic position involves safely transporting and delivering mail & packages, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining excellent customer interactions. You will be responsible for navigating assigned routes efficiently, handling packages with care, and adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate personal vehicles to complete daily routes. Load and unload mail & packages using safe techniques. Deliver parcels directly to customers’ doorsteps, ensuring accurate and prompt service while providing friendly customer interactions. Follow established route sequences and traffic laws to ensure safety at all times. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update delivery statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams efficiently. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform safe lifting practices during package handling to prevent injuries. Skills A valid driver’s license with 2 years minimum driving experience Delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and adherence to traffic regulations is beneficial; not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, moving packages, and performing safe lifting practices regularly. Comfort using mobile devices for navigation, delivery updates, and communication purposes.
