Compensation: $25–$32 hourly, based on your experience Availability: Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours weekly We are currently looking for a safety-conscious, reliable, and collaborative Route Specialist I to join our service operations. In this role, you will manage the delivery of agricultural chemicals, pipeline washes, teat dips, and various dairy sanitation supplies to our farm partners along a designated route. The ideal team member is a dedicated professional who values operational safety, provides exceptional customer service, ensures delivery precision, and fosters positive relationships with both our clients and fellow staff members. Core Responsibilities Transport and unload agricultural chemicals and dairy sanitation supplies at client sites to ensure they have the materials needed for daily operations. Adhere to specific site protocols when transferring products into bulk storage tanks, utility rooms, or milk houses. Conduct comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle assessments to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Keep precise records of inventory levels both on the truck and at customer locations. Submit sales documentation, DOT mileage logs, and hours-of-service reports in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain clear communication with clients regarding their product requirements, scheduling updates, and necessary follow-ups. Collaborate effectively with route partners and management to ensure consistent and reliable service delivery. Comply with all relevant EPA, DOT, and OSHA safety regulations to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Utilize all mandated personal protective equipment, such as safety goggles and gloves, to ensure personal safety. Ensure the company vehicle remains organized, clean, and in optimal mechanical condition. Support colleagues and accept additional duties as required to help drive team success. Required Qualifications Possession of a valid Class A CDL with a HAZMAT endorsement. A clean driving history. Between one and three years of professional commercial driving experience. Prior experience in route delivery, dairy, chemical, or agricultural sectors is highly preferred. Completion of high school or an equivalent educational credential. Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and provide high-quality customer service. Strong attention to detail paired with fundamental mathematical proficiency. Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, solve problems, and contribute to a team-oriented environment. Basic proficiency with computer systems. Familiarity with Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Word is preferred. Experience utilizing Apple/iOS hardware is considered an asset. Physical Demands and Work Environment Candidates must be capable of performing the following tasks: Regularly lifting and transporting items weighing between 50 and 75 lbs to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Bending, stooping, and climbing on or off trailers and vehicles while handling products. Operating in both indoor and outdoor settings across diverse weather conditions. Working in proximity to machinery, moving equipment, loud noises, and cattle. Handling agricultural and dairy sanitation chemicals while strictly adhering to safety protocols to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team. Driving efficiently while coordinating route logistics with team members and customers to help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team.
