Route Sales Representative – Wholesale Ice Cream

About the role As a Route Sales Representative for Damian's Wholesale Ice Cream, you're the face of our company at convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, drug stores, and restaurants across the Florida Panhandle area. You'll visit your accounts in person, work with store managers to grow their ice cream sales, and keep their freezers stocked and looking great. The more your accounts grow, the more you earn. You'll team up with a delivery driver: you build the relationships and write the orders, and they bring the product. What you'll do Visit your accounts in person on a set route using a company truck or van Meet with store managers to recommend products and quantities and write orders on a company handheld device Grow sales by introducing new products, running promotions, and placing new freezer equipment in stores Keep freezers stocked, rotated, clean, and frost-free so product sells Build strong working relationships with store managers and your delivery driver partners Complete quick pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep your vehicle clean and fueled (company fuel card provided) What we're looking for Must have: At least 3 years of experience in any of the following (or a combination): Route sales Merchandising Route driving Convenience store management with responsibility for ordering product Your 3+ years of qualifying experience must be clearly listed on your resume or application, including employer names and dates. Applications without this information will not be considered. 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED Valid driver's license and no major driving violations in the past 3 years (no CDL needed) Comfortable with physical work, including bending, kneeling, working in freezers and Florida heat, and occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs when loading or unloading freezer equipment Comfortable using smartphone and tablet apps Available for occasional weekend or evening work when needed Nice to have: Experience in frozen food, beverage, snack, or other direct-store-delivery products Existing relationships with convenience or grocery stores in the Tallahassee area What you get Daily base pay plus 2% commission, so your effort directly grows your paycheck Health, dental, and vision insurance Disability insurance 401(k) with company match Company vehicle, phone, and handheld, so there's no wear and tear on your personal car Monday–Friday schedule with weekends generally off Independence to run your own route Ready to roll?
