Route Sales Relief Representative

Northern Sales Company, a trusted leader in the Anchorage community for over 60 years, is seeking a dedicated Route Sales Relief Representative to join our team. As a Route Sales Relief Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless service to our customers by providing coverage for regular Route Sales Representatives. Responsibilities Provide coverage for regular Route Sales Representatives as needed, adapting to varying schedules based on company and customer requirements. Deliver customer orders and check in products with each customers receiver. Merchandise store shelves, coolers, and displays; rotate products and remove unsellable items to ensure freshness and quality. Maintain and organize backstock areas, ensuring a clean and orderly workspace. Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including credit/debit adjustments, turning in payments received, and providing proof of delivery. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of experience in delivery and merchandising preferred. Familiarity with driving non-CDL box trucks and understanding of relevant federal, state, and local regulations preferred, or willingness to learn. Current drivers license required. Ability to obtain a valid DOT physical. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and sound judgment. Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background screening. Reliable transportation to and from work. Compensation $30.00 per hour Benefits Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
