Route Sales Person
American BakeryEssential Duties and Responsibilities: In charge of daily sale and delivery of bakery goods to vendors. Responsible for accountability of daily sales transactions. Loads bakery goods on assigned delivery vehicle. Prepares invoices for delivery of loaded bakery goods Picks up bakery goods “for return” from vendors Prepares and submits Daily Sales Report and Statement of Account reflecting assigned routes. Maintains cleanliness of assigned delivery trucks in accordance with corporate, federal, and local statutory guidelines. Reports any problems and/or concerns to Sales Manager regarding delivery trucks and vendors. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Job Requirements: Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Keen attention to detail Ability to lift no more than 50lbs on a regular basis Be able to continuously bend reach, stand and walk for long periods of time. Can follow written and verbal directions and complete assigned task on schedule. Must be able to provide a non-expired health certificate from Public Health. Possess and maintains a valid chauffeur driver’s license. HS Diploma or GED required Excellent networking and time management skills.
