Job Summary We are hiring a Route Driver (CDL) to support our Houston logistics and records-management operation based at 8810 Clay Road . This is a high-trust position where accuracy, professionalism, and safety matter as much as driving skill. You will operate CDL-required vehicles to transport secure records, boxes, and shred material between client sites and our facility. Every stop, signature, scan, and transfer affects our chain-of-custody protections, customer trust, and overall operational rhythm. What You’ll DoSecure Transportation & Route Execution Operate CDL company vehicles in compliance with DOT, company policies, and all safety protocols. Complete assigned daily routes, including pickups, deliveries, and secure material transfers. Follow chain-of-custody requirements with zero exceptions. Communicate professionally with customers and represent VeriTrust with integrity. Maintain your vehicle with care and report maintenance needs promptly. Accuracy & Inventory Handling Load and unload boxes and shred bins weighing up to 70 lbs. Use scanners and internal systems to verify inventory and document each stop with accuracy. Ensure all paperwork, logs, and digital records reflect the correct data. Participate in warehouse pulls, put-aways, and destruction prep as needed. Operational Safety & Support Apply strong safety practices, situational awareness, and compliance in all driving conditions. Participate in safety initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement. Work with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain smooth site operations. Essential Functions This role requires the ability to: Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 70 lbs repeatedly. Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Work indoors/outdoors in Houston weather conditions. Operate pallet jacks, lift-gates, dollies, and scanners safely. Manage your time, follow directions, and work independently. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid Texas CDL with a clean driving record. 1+ year of CDL or logistics driving experience preferred. Strong customer service and professional communication. High level of reliability, attention to detail, and situational awareness. Demonstrated commitment to safe driving and ethical conduct. Ability to follow structured SOPs and compliance requirements. What Success Looks Like Routes are completed safely, on time, and accurately documented.
