MUST HAVE PRIOR ROUTE PREFERABLY BOTTLED WATER DELIVERY EXPERIENCE WITH A TRUCK LENGTH OF 26‘ MUST PASS A COMPLETE BACKGROUND CHECK Duties Safely operate commercial trucks and vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards. Plan, organize, and execute daily delivery routes efficiently to maximize productivity. Load, unload, and secure merchandise using safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols. Deliver products directly to retail stores or clients, providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships through clear communication. Upsell additional products or services during deliveries to increase sales opportunities while meeting customer needs. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pricing adjustments, and client interactions for reporting purposes. Follow merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves or displays at retail locations to enhance presentation. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, route driving, or related transportation roles with a strong understanding of DOT regulations. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team coordination. Basic math skills for handling pricing adjustments, inventory counts, and transaction calculations. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques, upselling, and customer relationship building to foster loyalty. Knowledge of automobile transportation safety practices and heavy lifting procedures. Retail store experience is a plus for understanding merchandising standards and client expectations. Strong organizational skills to manage routes efficiently, prioritize tasks, and keep detailed logs accurately.
