Route Driver

Overview As a Route Driver, you’ll deliver products to retail customers, build strong customer relationships, and help keep each stop organized and productive. You’ll drive assigned routes, handle merchandise safely, and represent the business through dependable customer service and clear communication. Your impact: Accurate, courteous deliveries help customers keep their stores stocked and ready to serve shoppers. Responsibilities Drive commercial vehicles along assigned routes and transport merchandise safely. Load, unload, and move products using safe lifting practices; heavy lifting is part of the role. Communicate with clients about deliveries, resolve routine concerns, and build lasting customer relationships. Support merchandising and retail store needs; identify relevant upselling and sales opportunities. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, maintain organized delivery records, and apply pricing information accurately. Skills Required: Valid qualifications for the assigned vehicle and commercial driving; knowledge of safe driving practices and DOT regulations. Required: Customer service, communication, client communication, and organizational skills. Required: Basic math skills for checking quantities, orders, and pricing. Preferred: Commercial truck driving, route driving, automobile transportation, and retail store experience. Preferred: Sales, upselling, merchandising, and customer relationship-building experience. Pay: From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
