Route Driver

Your local purveyor of Boar’s Head Brand deli products is seeking a reliable candidate to deliver our premium products. Responsibilities include delivering food products to grocery stores, restaurants, and other food‑service establishments. This position requires physical activity such as loading, unloading, and merchandising deliveries, completing truck maintenance logs, washing trucks, and assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed. We provide complete training, and this person will have ownership of the success of their delivery route. Experience will be considered during negotiations. 1–2 years of grocery store vendor (DSD) experience is a plus. No CDL is required. Our fleet consists of 16–18 foot bobtail refrigerated trucks and extended vans, all with automatic transmissions. The Ideal Candidate Is dependable Provides enthusiastic customer service Has reliable transportation to arrive on time every day Can start the workday between 4:00–5:00 AM, ready to contribute Can work Monday through Friday, with some weekends Can complete daily procedures and responsibilities without direct supervision Can lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and push/pull up to 1,000 lbs using a pallet jack or cart Has a smartphone Can work 30-35 hours per week Has a clean driving record Presents a professional appearance and attitude Includes a resume with their application that lists any DSD grocery vendor experience Immediate consideration will be given to top qualified candidates.
