Route Driver

Job Summary As a Route Driver, you’ll deliver products to retail customers, build strong customer relationships, and help each stop run smoothly. You’ll drive assigned routes, handle merchandise safely, and support sales through attentive service and relevant upselling. This role combines commercial driving, customer communication, and practical merchandising. Responsibilities Drive a commercial van on assigned routes and follow safe driving practices. Load, unload, and transport fruit using safe lifting practices; this role includes heavy lifting. Deliver fruit to each client in a presentable, professional manner. Provide customer service, communicate clearly with clients, and build lasting customer relationships. Support sales by sharing company information and identifying appropriate upselling opportunities. Experience Experience with route driving, commercial driving, or commercial truck driving is preferred; automobile transportation experience is also relevant. Upselling experience is helpful. Demonstrate strong communication skills, client communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move products safely; knowledge of safe lifting practices is essential.
