Route Driver

Job Summary Sullivan Distributing is seeking a reliable and hardworking Route Driver to join our delivery team. The Route Driver is responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customer locations while providing excellent customer service. This position requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, customer-focused, and capable of handling physical work throughout the day. Responsibilities Safely operate company delivery vehicles while following all traffic laws and company policies Load, unload, and deliver products to customer locations accurately and efficiently Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule Verify invoices, delivery quantities, and customer signatures upon delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional communication and service Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles Handle cash or COD payments when necessary Communicate with dispatch and management regarding route updates, delivery issues, or customer concerns Assist with warehouse duties when needed Follow all food safety and company operational procedures Requirements Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be U.S. citizen Previous delivery driving or route experience REQUIRED Ability to lift and carry heavy products throughout the day (50+ lbs regularly) Strong work ethic and reliability Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and overtime when required Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Arabic) is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet customer service excellence!
