Route Dispatcher

Courier Company is seeking a Dispatcher to lead a last-mile pickup and delivery operation based in San Jose, CA, serving customers throughout the Bay Area. The Dispatcher will assist in overseeing a team of drivers, working closely with management and customers while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations. The position will focus on driver leadership, delivery KPIs, safety and security, and customer service. Schedule Full-Time| Monday–Friday | 4:00 AM–12:30 PM Key Responsibilities Help lead and support a team of drivers. Monitor delivery performance and ensure customer KPIs are met. Train and coach drivers on safety, service, and operational initiatives. Perform basic payroll and timekeeping functions. Conduct hub audits and enforce safety and security procedures. Resolve escalated delivery issues and communicate with customers. Assist with fleet, equipment, and asset management. Qualifications Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with managing drivers or last-mile delivery operations preferred. Some college preferred.
