Roll-Off Truck Driver – CDL B – Home Daily | Christina River Container Services | New Castle, DE Local runs, no curbside cans. You’ll drop and pull roll-off containers around New Castle County and sleep in your own bed every night. $25–$29 an hour + overtime + $300 quarterly safety bonus · Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM start · About one Saturday morning a month Who we are We rent 10- to 40-yard roll-off containers to contractors, roofers, demolition crews, property managers and homeowners in the middle of a renovation. Our fleet is Mack Granite and Kenworth T880 trucks with cable hoists. Construction in the county keeps growing, so we’re adding three trucks and three drivers. Your day Make 8–12 stops: dropping, swapping and pulling containers at jobsites and homes Set containers carefully, using boards on driveways Tarp your loads Haul to transfer stations and Cherry Island Landfill Get your routes and tickets on the in-cab tablet Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Hours and pay We start at 6:00 AM, and most days run 9–10 hours. That’s usually 45–50 hours a week, and every hour over 40 is paid at time and a half. Drivers rotate Saturday mornings, about one a month. Every quarter you drive without a preventable accident or violation, you earn a $300 safety bonus. What you need A CDL Class B (Class A is fine) with air brakes 1+ year of CDL driving. Roll-off experience is a plus, and we’ll train you on container placement.
