Roll Off Truck Driver
Scrap my Car Inc.D&M Tilt 'n Load is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team in the Ottawa area. Schedule and compensation: - Monday to Friday - Scheduled availability is generally 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. - Many days finish earlier depending on the daily workload and route completion - $30.00-$33.00 per hour, based on experience - Group Manulife health and dental benefits are available after successfully completing the three-month probationary period The successful candidate will operate a roll-off truck to deliver, pick up, exchange and empty waste and recycling bins at construction sites, commercial properties and customer locations. Responsibilities include: - Safely operating a roll-off truck - Delivering, exchanging, picking up and emptying bins - Positioning bins safely at customer locations - Completing daily vehicle inspections - Confirming instructions with dispatch - Completing delivery photos, tickets and paperwork - Communicating professionally with customers and site contacts - Keeping the truck and equipment clean and maintained - Following company safety procedures and Ontario transportation regulations Requirements: - Valid Ontario DZ licence required; AZ is preferred - Clean driver's abstract - Commercial driving experience - Roll-off truck experience is strongly preferred - Must supply and wear CSA-approved safety work boots - Strong safety awareness and good judgment - Reliable, punctual and able to work independently - Comfortable using a smartphone for dispatch information - Flexible with the daily finish time based on workload D&M offers steady work, well-maintained equipment and a practical, team-oriented workplace.
