ROLL OFF TRUCK DRIVER

Duties Safely operate roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles according to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and state transportation laws. Load, unload, and transport waste materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Manage route driving schedules with precision, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries across designated areas. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before each shift. Maintain accurate logs of all trips, loads, and disposal activities in compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and address any route or service concerns. Requirements Proven experience operating commercial trucks such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, front loaders, or garbage trucks. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues. Prior experience in solid waste management or municipal waste collection is a MUST. Pay: $22.50 - $27.50 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Work Location: In person
