DZ License Roll-Off Truck Driver –Metal Recycling Company: Nordic Environmental & Demolition Ltd. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Location: Etobicoke, ON (calls across GTA and southern ON) Pay: $30.00/hr starting About Us Nordic Environmental and Demolition Ltd. is an established scrap metal recycling company specializing in metal collection, recycling, and material handling. We work with a wide range of commercial and industrial customers, providing reliable scrap collection, waste removal, and recycling services. We are currently looking for a dependable and experienced Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering, exchanging, and picking up roll-off bins at customer locations throughout the region. This position involves working directly with industrial and commercial customers and ensuring scrap metal is transported safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Deliver, exchange, and retrieve roll-off bins at customer facilities. Transport scrap metal safely between customer locations and dump sites. Operate roll-off trucks in a safe and professional manner. Secure loads and ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and yard personnel. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues. Maintain accurate paperwork and collection records. Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers. Qualifications Valid CLEAN Ontario DZ driver's license. Previous roll-off truck driving experience. Clean driver's abstract. Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving. Good communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Experience in scrap metal, recycling, or industrial environments considered an asset.
