Roll-Off Driver

Job Summary ***Must Have Class B License As a Roll-Off Driver, you’ll operate a roll-off truck to deliver, position, and retrieve containers safely and on schedule. You’ll plan routes, secure loads, and communicate clearly with customers and dispatch. This role involves physical handling and careful attention to road, site, and cargo safety. Your impact: Safe, dependable deliveries help customers keep work sites organized and materials moving. Duties Drive roll-off trucks on local routes and, when assigned, over-the-road (OTR) routes; use GPS navigation and follow dispatch instructions. Deliver, position, exchange, and retrieve containers; load and unload cargo while securing equipment and materials. Inspect the truck and load before, during, and after trips; report damage, hazards, or maintenance concerns. Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, as well as applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods rules. Complete delivery records and communicate route updates, delays, and site concerns. Skills Required: Commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, delivery driving, route driving, and delivery driver experience; ability to operate a roll-off truck. Required: Safe manual handling, truck loading and unloading, and logistics cargo handling; ability to follow safety procedures. Preferred: Dump truck, automobile transportation, freight. Preferred: Experience with hazmat (hazardous materials) and knowledge of applicable hazardous materials regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation and DOT and FMCSA requirements is an asset.
