Roll-Off Driver
ConfidentialJob Summary As a Roll-Off Driver, you’ll operate a commercial truck to transport and deliver roll-off dumpster containers to commercial and residential customers. You’ll plan routes with GPS navigation, secure cargo, and coordinate pickups and deliveries while following applicable transportation and safety requirements. Your impact: Careful driving and dependable service help customers receive and move materials safely and on schedule. Duties Drive roll-off trucks/trailer on local routes and, when assigned, over-the-road (OTR) routes. Load, unload, and secure dumpster containers and other freight using safe manual handling practices. Use GPS navigation to plan routes and complete delivery driving and pickups. Inspect vehicles and cargo; report maintenance concerns and follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Experience Experience in commercial truck driving, truck driving, commercial driving, route driving, or delivery driver work is relevant. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer & roll on/off trailer and manual transmission is essential; experience withroll on/off trailer flatbeds, tankers, automobile transportation, or logistics cargo handling is a plus. Familiarity with truck loading and unloading, freight handling, and safe driving practices is preferred. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week Work Location: In person
