Ryland EnvironmentalRoll Off Driver Location: Savannah, GA 31405 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Roll Off Driver to join our team in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating roll off trucks to transport and deliver containers to various job sites, ensuring timely and efficient service while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Operate roll off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver roll off containers to and from customer locations. Have a valid CDL and clean driving record 1 year minimum holding a valid CDL Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after each trip to ensure proper working condition. Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or spillage during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate logs of work performed, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details. Follow all local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle operation and safety. Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience operating roll off trucks or similar heavy vehicles. Strong knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing. Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks. Work Environment This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and requires adherence to safety protocols. The Roll Off Driver will spend significant time driving and may be required to load and unload containers manually.
