Roll-Off Driver
Autohaus Gruppe SpindlerCDL Class B Roll-Off Driver Spindler Refuse Service is looking for an experienced CDL Class B Roll-Off Driver to join our team. We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused and experienced driver who takes pride in being reliable and getting the job done. This is a full-time, local driving position primarily servicing Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Howard County, Carroll County, and Harford County. Drivers may occasionally be required to service additional areas based on customer needs, operational requirements, and expansion of our service territory. Responsibilities Safely operate a roll-off truck to deliver, swap, and pick up containers. Transport containers to appropriate disposal and recycling facilities. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Safely hook, load, secure, and unload roll-off containers. Navigate residential, commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, pickups, and changes throughout the day. Maintain accurate disposal tickets, paperwork, and required documentation. Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Report equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns promptly. Provide professional and courteous service to customers. Travel outside the primary service area when operational or customer needs require it. Qualifications Valid CDL Class B required. Previous commercial driving experience required. Roll-off, waste, construction, dump truck, or similar heavy-truck experience strongly preferred. Safe and acceptable driving record. Ability to safely maneuver commercial vehicles in tight job sites and customer locations. Ability to perform the physical duties associated with roll-off operations. Strong communication skills and professional attitude. Ability to adapt to changing routes and daily operational needs. Attendance & Reliability Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential requirements of this position. Because our daily routes and customer commitments depend on having our drivers available as scheduled, Spindler maintains a strict attendance and punctuality policy. New employees will be subject to a probationary period , during which attendance, punctuality, job performance, safety, and overall reliability will be closely evaluated. Applicants should be prepared to consistently report to work on time and as scheduled. Excessive absenteeism, tardiness, or failure to comply with the company's attendance policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
